Upcoming productions of her work will take place at Yale Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory Theatre and Woolly Mammoth. Sarahs plays have been developed and produced at theatres around the country, as well as in London and Germany. Her work will be available in an anthology published by TCG in 2005. She received her M.F.A. from Brown University, and is originally from Chicago. In 2003, Sarah was the recipient of a Helen Merrill Award and a Whiting Writers Award. Awards include: Edinburgh Fringe First, Tokyo Theatre Critics, Dramalogue, KPBS Patte, Connecticut Critics Circle, Dean Goodman, Bay Area Critics Circle and an OBIE for directing Big Love. He is an associate artist of The Civilians, the New York based theatre group. As Berkeley Reps associate artistic director, in addition to Eurydice, this season Les will direct Charles L. Mees Fêtes de la Nuit. SCOTT BRADLEY (Scenic Designer) has collaborated with writer/director Mary Zimmerman on several projects: The Goodman Theatre productions of The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci and Journey to the West (which traveled around the country and earned the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Set Design); Philip Glass Akhnaten, produced by Boston Lyric Opera; and A Midsummer Nights Dream at The Huntington Theatre. Bradley designed the world premiere of August Wilsons Seven Guitars at the Goodman Theatre and earned a Drama Desk Award and Tony nomination for Set Design. He was also nominated for a Drama Desk Award for his Broadway set design of Wilsons Joe Turners Come and Gone. Most recently, he designed sets for Picnic at Center Stage, Topdog/Underdog at Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Whos Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Shakespeare Santa Cruz. He recently designed a production of Much Ado About Nothing on the Boston Commons during the DNC this summer and is currently working on Mary Zimmermans Silk, to open at The Goodman in May. Off-Broadway, Bradley designed Steve Martins Picasso at the Lapin Agile and Wendy MacLeods Sin, both at the Promenade Theatre. He designed sets for Late Night with David Letterman and was production designer for Ang Lees Pushing Hands. MEG NEVILLE (Costume Designer) Bay Area design credits include Ghosts, Suddenly Last Summer, The Life of Galileo, Closer and Dinner With Friends at Berkeley Rep, Buried Child at A.C.T., Joe Goode Performance Group, the Magic and numerous productions at California Shakespeare Theater, including A Winters Tale, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Twelfth Night (Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Costume Design). Recent credits include Monteverdis Orfeo at Brooklyn Academy of Music, Cosi Fan Tutte for Chicago Opera Theater and Three Tall Women at Center Stage, Baltimore. Meg has worked at The Atlantic (N.Y.C.), Hartford Stage, Yale Rep, Dallas Theater Center, San Jose Rep, South Coast Rep and San Francisco Opera Center. Meg is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and resides in San Francisco with her husband and daughter. RUSSELL H. CHAMPA (Lighting Designer) Recent projects include The Stendhal Syndrome at 59E59 in N.Y.C., Limonade Tous Les Jours at the Bay St. Theatre in the Hamptons and Jesus Hopped The A Train at the Wilma Theatre in Philadelphia. Bay Area credits include Henry IV, parts 1 and 2 at Cal Shakes, Waiting For Godot at A.C.T. and Dr. Faustus at the Magic. On Broadway, Russell designed Julia Sweeneys God Said Ha! at the Lyceum Theatre. Theatres in New York that Russell has designed for include The Promenade Theatre, The Union Square Theater, Classic Stage Company, New York Stage and Film, Lincoln Center Institute and La Mama Etc. Regionally, Russell has designed for Baltimore Center Stage, Trinity Repertory Company, McCarter Theater Center, Long Wharf Theater, ACT/Seattle, The Actors Gang, The Kennedy Center, The Shakespeare Theater, The Dallas Theater Center and Seattle Rep. PEACE. BRAY POOR (Sound Designer) is happy to return to Berkeley Rep. He last worked here as an actor, playing Harlequin in Stephen Wadsworths Changes of Heart. As a sound designer, he recently worked at Actors Theatre of Louisville for Humana 2004 on Kid-Simple and Ruby Sunrise. Bray also designed Ruby Sunrise at Trinity Rep. In New York, he designed Chuck Mees Orestes with lightbox, The Laramie Project at Baruch Performing Arts and Sarah Ruhls Late for Clubbed Thumb. Regionally, he has designed Slide Glide the Slippery Slope by Kia Corthron for Humana Festival 2003 and Beauty at the Trilogy Theatre. In addition to designing several pieces for Columbias Director Program, Bray supervised sound for Crowns at Alliance. Off-Broadway, he co-designed sound on The Bitter Tears of Petra Van Kant with Darron West and acted as assistant sound designer with Mr. West on projects at New York Theatre Workshop, Second Stage and the McCarter Theater Center. Mr. Poor is the sound designer for Mediarights.org and contributed to the Sonic Memorial, a web installation created by NPR and Picture Projects about the World Trade Center. Before becoming a designer, Mr. Poor was an actor. Some acting credits include work at The Old Globe, San Diego Rep, Berkeley Rep, Williamstown and Long Wharf, as well as several movies and television programs. Mr. Poor is a member of lightbox. AMIÉE GUILLOT (Loud Stone) previously appeared at Berkeley Rep in Big Love, also directed by Les Waters. RAMIZ MONSEF (Big Stone) Ramiz is proud to be making his Berkeley Rep debut in Eurydice. A 2002 graduate of the Cornish College of the Arts, Ramiz spent his first two years out of school at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where he appeared in Romeo and Juliet, Richard II, Wild Oats, As You Like It and Titus Andronicus. He then returned to Seattle to play Willie in The Time of Your Life (Steppenwolf production) at Seattle Rep, which he also performed on tour at A.C.T. in San Francisco this past April. When he is not working as an actor, Ramiz can be seen around the Bay Area performing as an M.C. with the hip-hop group The Subliminal Twinkeez, who just completed a two month tour of the U.S. He is also a guest M.C. with the group Alphabet Soup. CHARLES SHAW ROBINSON (Eurydices Father) Not too long ago, and just down the street, Charles appeared in Betrayal, directed by Tom Ross for the Aurora Theatre Company. His work for Berkeley Rep includes roles in Homebody/Kabul, directed by Tony Taccone, and in The Magic Fire, directed by Jack OBrien. DANIEL TALBOTT (Orpheus) last worked with Berkeley Rep on Skylight (BATCC Award Nomination). Other theatre credits include Three Sisters (Theatre at Lake Lucille), Erin Go Braghless (ONeill Playwrights Conference), Venice in Vegas (HB Playwrights), Now Thats What I Call a Storm (Edge Theater), A Midsummer Nights Dream (American Repertory Theatre), Big Love (Dallas Theater Center), Ah, Wilderness (Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park/Repertory Theatre of St. Louis) and Fortune and Mens Eyes (New Conservatory Theatre/Dramalogue Award), among others. Film credits include Missionary Position and A is for Assets. Daniel is a recent graduate of Juilliard, a 1998 graduate of Solano College Theatres ATP and artistic director of Rising Phoenix Repertory. He couldnt be happier to be back at Berkeley Rep and home with his family and friends. T. EDWARD WEBSTER (Little Stone) Eurydice marks Edwards second appearance at Berkeley Rep, following his debut here in 2003s Suddenly Last Summer. Other Bay Area credits include Night and Day, A Christmas Carol, Edward II, No For an Answer and The Time of Your Life at A.C.T., Two Gentlemen of Verona at San Jose Rep, Cymbeline, The Skin of Our Teeth, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Measure for Measure and Much Ado About Nothing at California Shakespeare Festival, The Taming of the Shrew at Pioneer Memorial Theatre and Lobby Hero and The Man of Destiny at the Aurora Theatre Company. Edward is a graduate of A.C.T.s M.F.A. program. MARK ZEISLER (Nasty Interesting Man / Lord of the Underworld) is very happy to return to Berkeley Rep, where he worked with Les Waters and Aimée Guillot in the 2001 production of Big Love. Mark has worked around the U.S. at such theatres as The Goodman, Yale Rep, Long Wharf, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Actors Theatre of Louisville and American Repertory Theatre, where he was a company member for two seasons. On Broadway, he played both Mike and Alfieri in A View from the Bridge, which won the 1998 Tony for Best Revival. Past roles have included Iago in Othello, Ariel in The Tempest, Krogstad in A Dolls House, Lenny in The Homecoming, Tartaglia in The King Stag, the title role in Dracula, Konstantin in The Seagull and Mark Antony in Julius Caesar. His many television credits include all three incarnations of Law and Order, Third Watch, New York Undercover and numerous soaps and commercials. Films: Random Hearts, Shaft, The Thomas Crown Affair, Head of State and Two Weeks Notice. Mark was born and raised in New York and studied at SUNY Purchase.
