Leibert, who founded Berkeley Rep in 1968 as a storefront community theatre. The Endowment Fund provides the financial stability necessary to enable Berkeley Rep to continue to maintain the highest standards of artistic excellence, support new work and serve the community with innovative programs of education and outreach. Planned gifts include bequests, charitable trusts, life insurance or retirement plan beneficiary designations, and gifts of real estate, securities or other property through a donor’s estate plan.
