Page to Stage is a free event hosted by Berkeley Rep where actors, directors and playwrights discuss their work with the public. Conversations range from the topicality of a certain play to the process involved in bringing it to life. Past programs have featured theatre luminaries such as David Edgar, Sarah Jones, Tony Kushner, Delroy Lindo, Donald Margulies, Terrence McNally, Charles Mee, Rita Moreno, Salman Rushdie and the Chicano performance trio Culture Clash.

Page to Stage takes place on Monday nights at 7PM, and it’s FREE! Each Page to Stage is followed by a private donor reception with the speakers.
Special thanks to Page to Stage sponsor Peet’s Coffee & Tea for their generous support.
Are you someone who always watches the “extra features” on your DVDs?
If you like to look behind the scenes, then don’t miss Berkeley Rep’s free docent discussions, where trained volunteers bring you additional background information on the show you’re about to see—interesting and insightful tidbits you won’t find in the program, your pre-show literary e-mail or anywhere else. Docent presentations begin one hour before all Tuesday and Thursday 8PM performances, and last 30 minutes, so you have plenty of time to freshen up and find your seats before the show.
An additional docent presentation is scheduled one hour before the 8PM performance on April 30.
Coming to the theatre as a group? We’re happy to arrange a special discussion session for any group of ten or more theatre-goers. Call the docent coordinator at 510.647.2900, or e-mail docent@berkeleyrep.org for more information at least two weeks in advance of your date. Visits are of course subject to scheduling and availability. Learn about other group benefits.
