Berkeley Repertory Theatre has received Charity Navigator’s 4 stars for a fourth consecutive year! This means that your tax-deductible gift is put to work effectively to bring award-winning theatre productions and education programs to our community.
The storefront theatre founded in 1968 by Cal grad student Michael Leibert has grown into a local institution with a national reputation for bold programming, adventurous choices and artistic excellence. Its exceptional arts education and outreach programs are a model for other theatres and communities and are enriching the lives of young people and inspiring future generations of theatre artists and leaders.
Members of the Michael Leibert Society are dedicated supporters who have included Berkeley Repertory Theatre in their estate plans. Society members share a vision to make great theatre their legacy. Their gifts will live on forever as part of Berkeley Rep’s endowment, and as an expression of their deepest values.
If you have made a gift from your estate, please contact us, so that we may acknowledge your generous philanthropy. All Michael Leibert Society members are invited to be our guests at our annual Michael Leibert Society celebration. With your permission, we will list you as a member of the Society to encourage others to follow in your footsteps.
