School of Theatre > For teens > Teen Council > One-Acts Festival
What is the Teen One-Acts Festival? From acting, directing, designing and playwriting, to producing and technical theatre, we do it all. Each year, a panel of Teen Council members selects two original plays penned by Bay Area teens to be performed and produced by their peers. Each team member is given a Berkeley Rep mentor in their related field and the Festival is the result!
Congratulation to the cast and crew of the 2012 Teen One-Acts Festival on a successful run! Celebrating its tenth anniversary, 26 youth from six local communities produced an evening of drama ranging from the ditzy to the divine. The shows premiered at the School of Theatre in April 2012.
