Single tickets
buying tickets online
There are two different ways to look for tickets to individual shows. Either way, you’ll have the option of refining your search to meet your needs and browsing back to other pages on our web site.
Calendar search
- Search the calendar for performances. You’ll be taken to this month’s calendar where you can purchase from available performances. From there you can check another month and further refine your search.
Advanced search
- Search for tickets by date range. You can also perform a filtered search, which allows you to choose the show you want while specifying matinee or evening performance, a pre- or post-show discussion or other ancillary event, and other options.

Previews are the first four public performances of each play, before the official press opening.
Opening Night is when the critics are invited to review performances. There is a pre-show dinner for donors, and a post-show reception, to which the entire audience is invited.
While there are Sunday matinees every week, Thursday and Saturday matinees alternate weeks, sometimes unpredictably. Please see the individual performance schedule for each show to confirm matinee performances. Also, there are NO Thursday matinees for the two Limited Engagement shows.

Rush tickets
Student and Seniors (age 65 and over) with valid ID save $10 on tickets in sections A and B one hour before each show, based on availability. Discount not available online.
Group and entourage tickets
Groups of 10–14 receive $5 off per ticket, and groups of 15+ receive 20% off plus one complimentary ticket.
You can choose the traditional group method with everyone sitting together on one night, or you can attend via the entourage method and we’ll give you a promotion code for each person in your group to buy their own tickets online at the discount. Click here to explore.
Please note: Entourage is subject to ticket availability, and does not guarantee everyone sitting together. Entourage tickets must be bought online, limit of three performances per offer.

Under 30 discount
1/2-price advance tickets for anyone under the age of 30 for most shows. Proof of age required. Some restrictions apply. Based on availability. This discount is available online.
California Alumni Association membership discount
$5 off tickets to all performances, excluding Saturday evenings. CAA Membership Card required. Based on availability. Discount not available online.
Get a great price at any time
In the past, our HotTix program offered a limited number of discount tickets at noon each day for that evening’s performance. Now, however, we’ve introduced new prices that allow you to buy an affordable seat at any time! You won’t have to wait in line at lunchtime—and you won’t have to pay with cash. These new prices make Berkeley Rep more accessible to people in the community who are just starting school, starting careers and starting families—because lower prices are available anytime, for every performance!

ticket vouchers
To redeem a ticket voucher, please visit the box office or mail your voucher to Attn: Box Office / Berkeley Repertory Theatre / 2025 Addison Street / Berkeley, CA 94704. Please fill out the voucher completely. Vouchers are available for most shows in Berkeley Rep’s season, and can be redeemed for performances on Tuesdays at 8pm, Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays at 2pm or 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm or Sundays at 7pm. Please note that limits and restrictions do apply. Vouchers may not be available for all performances, or for special events. Popular shows fill up quickly so please check with us early.

Berkeley Rep has changed our theatres to accommodate three different price tiers, allowing us to introduce new, lower prices for every performance. You can now find tickets as low as $27, with additional discounts for students, seniors and those under 30. This means that, whether you’re just starting a career, just starting a family or just living on a limited budget, you can afford to see more world-class theatre.
In the Roda Theatre the farthest seat is only 49 feet from the stage.
On the Thrust Stage no seat is more than 44 feet from the stage.

Special needs?
Both our theatres are wheelchair-accessible, and we offer free assisted-listening devices at all performances. We also offer audio descriptions of the performances for the visually-impaired and scripts for the hearing-impaired through our box office.
