Intermediate / Advanced Acting Scene Study: All My Sons by Arthur Miller

Starts Mon 1/26 · $365

Working with the play All My Sons by Arthur Miller, students will dive deep into selected scenes from the play, culminating in an evening of scene sharing for an invited audience. We will begin by establishing a script analysis toolbox and proceed to scene work rehearsals. Special emphasis will be placed on activating dramatically effective choices by playing provocative actions, discovering the event within the scene, and finding creative obstacles. We will share our work with friends and family during our final class session.

Prerequisite: Prior acting experience or previous acting classes at Berkeley Rep School of Theatre or another reputable studio that stressed the fundamentals of text analysis, beat breakdown, and character objectives.

Students will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to All My Sons at Berkeley Rep.
