2025/26 season

For the comfort and safety of patrons at higher risk of adverse health effects from airborne illnesses, masks will be required for audiences in our theatres on select Sunday and Tuesday performances (see calendar) during our 2025/26 season.

• The Sunday and Tuesday performances provide equitable access to weekdays/weekends, performance times, and price points, including one preview.
• Masks must cover both the nose and mouth.
• We encourage the use of procedural masks (either alone or with a cloth mask on top) or higher-grade N95 or KN95 masks.
• No eating or drinking inside the theatres during these performances.
• Masks will be optional in the Narsai M. David Courtyard, Michael’s Second Act bar, and our indoor lobbies. Eating and drinking are permitted in these areas.

Masks are encouraged but will be optional for audiences in our theatres for all other performances during our 2025/26 season.

• Beverages in cans, cartons, or plastic cups with lids are welcome in the theatres during these performances. Food is not permitted inside the theatres during any performance.

Proof of vaccination will not be required for audience members in our 2025/26 season.

Our COVID-19 safety protocols will continue to be reviewed and revised based on the advice of medical experts, government guidance, and evolving circumstances. We appreciate your understanding.

In the Peet’s Theatre no seat is more than 44 feet from the stage.
In the Roda Theatre the farthest seat is only 49 feet from the stage.

School of Theatre

Masks are encouraged but will be optional for all students attending School of Theatre programming.

• This includes classes, Teen Leadership Council events, and student matinee workshops.
• All teaching artists, Berkeley Rep staff, and guest artists will remain masked while inside the building to mitigate risk of exposure.
