Prepare for the return of W. Kamau Bell to the world of stand-up comedy! After a five-year comedic hiatus filled with pandemic challenges and family responsibilities, Kamau is back to make you laugh and think. He’s teaming up with Berkeley Rep for a limited engagement, performing once a week for two months, providing you with a unique opportunity to witness him literally gets his act together right before your eyes. Each week, he’ll experiment with fresh material, discuss current events, and share new stories about his life and family — all while trying not to stress about the upcoming election. In W. Kamau Bell Gets His Act Together, you’re invited to be part of building the next era of Kamau’s comedic journey. The goal is that Kamau gets a new hour to take around the country…and the hope is that whatever is left of America’s democracy survives into 2025.
