Movement for Actors

Starts Sat 4/11 · $250

Learn how to illuminate character/action, text, and pivotal moments in a play through movement. Actors will explore Laban-based concepts of Force, Space, and Time, focusing on mastering movement qualities to create unforgettable kinesthetic moments between the actor and the audience that are essential in creating exciting physical theatre! We will also work on alignment and building strength and technique as well. Be prepared to do a lot of work on your own, with possible scene work in the final week.
