The Power and Magic of Masks

Starts Thu 2/26 · $295

Explore the magic of masks! In this class, students will discover how to embody a living mask which will expand their physical and emotional expression while developing a new approach to their craft from acting to writing to directing. We will explore a variety of masks such as Jacques Lecoq’s neutral mask, character masks, utilitarian masks, and the clown. Each week students will transform themselves into a completely new character! At the last class, we will perform our original mask pieces for our invited guests.
